Painting Flat Roofs

The house has 5 small roofs on the main building. 3 are sloped, one was in good condition. we had 2 new roofs. The other 2 roofs are flat. They appeared to be water tight , but we we not willing to take any chances.....

This is the condition of the roofs in August 2019:

After some research into the best paint to use we decided to go with Aquablock, its available at Leroy Merlin for 70 euros for 5 Litres . Its silicone paint and leaves a rubbery feel to the surface. There is a choice of colours and it can be painted in many surfaces including roof tile, and it can withstand intense heat.

First we gave the roof a good sweep to remove any dust and sand. then gave the roof a good wash with bleach to kill and fungus which was present (we washed the room a couple of times before we painted. we also filled and holes and cracks with exterior filler. and scraped off anything present such as old rummer sealer and weeds.

Applying the paint was fairly easy, firstly going around the edges with a brush , before pouring the paint directly on the roof and using a roller to spead. I applied the paint generously and it dried perfect.
